The Last Time The Cubs Were No-Hit...
↵↵
The last time the Cubs were no-hit was September 9, 1965, when Sandy Koufax threw a perfect game against them, with 14 strikeouts. It was the second time the Cubs had been no-hit in three weeks; the Reds' Jim Maloney threw a 10-inning CG no-no against them in the first game of a DH on August 19, 1965, the only 10-inning CG no-hitter in MLB history.

That must have made the Cubs mad, because their streak is now at 7,193 games with a hit and counting, after solving the Cardinals' Jaime Garcia, who looked like he had no-hit stuff, Friday night in St. Louis.
↵↵The Cubs may not have pennants or World Series, but at least they have this. So there’s that, anyway.
