Ladies’ semifinals play begins Thursday, Day 10 of Wimbledon 2011 at the All England Club, with tournament action beginning at 7 a.m. EDT. All semifinal matches will be played on Centre Court, so the rain delays plaguing this year’s tournament shouldn’t be an issue. Today’s TV schedule (view the full fortnight’s schedule here):

Scheduled Day 10 singles matches on Centre Court:
• No. 4 Victoria Azarenka vs. No. 8 Petra Kvitova
• No. 5 Maria Sharapova vs. Sabine Lisicki
The only American players remaining in this year’s Championships are the World No. 1 Bryan twins, who’ll be playing the first match of the day on Court No. 1, as they compete in the men’s doubles quarterfinals against the fifth-ranked Austro-German team of Jurgen Melzer and Philipp Petzschner.
