Hey, you know what’s a bad idea? Running onto a racetrack while Formula One cars are driving on it. Hey, you know what a Formula One marshall did as Sebastian Buemi was running in a Red Bull charity race in a showcar on Saturday? Here’s the video of Buemi’s car colliding with him; don’t watch it if you don’t want to see what seems like a sickening collision of man and machine.

↵It looks worse than it was: incredibly, and fortunately, the marshall was not hurt, thanks in part to Buemi driving at only about 30 miles per hour. Perhaps more unbelievably, this isn’t even the first time a Formula One car and an F1 marshall have made contact on the track this year, thanks to a car running over a marshall in April while being moved off the grass.
↵But, still: just don’t run in front of Formula One cars, okay? Bad idea, guys and gals.
