MLB TV Schedule, 6/9: Yankees/Red Sox, Cubs/Phillies

What a surprise -- the Yankees and Red Sox on national television again. Anyone know when was the last time these two teams played and were not featured on a national network? All times Eastern.

10:30 a.m., MLB Network: Triple-A baseball, Louisville at Syracuse. These are the top affiliates of the Reds and Nationals, respectively.

7 p.m., MLB Network, NESN, WWOR: Red Sox at Yankees. The Red Sox took over sole possession of first place in the AL East by one game with last night's win. It's a pitching matchup worth watching: Josh Beckett vs. CC Sabathia. In the New York and Boston markets, MLB Network will show Cubs vs. Phillies.

7 p.m., WGN, CSN Philadelphia: Cubs at Phillies. This may be the Cubs' best shot at winning a game in this series, as they have Randy Wells against Kyle Kendrick.

10 p.m., FSN Ohio, CSN Bay Area: Reds at Giants. The Reds have struggled at times this year and trail the Cardinals by five games in the NL Central. The NL West-leading Giants send Madison Bumgarner to face Cincinnati's Johnny Cueto.
