MLB TV Schedule, 7/1: Yankees/Mets, Cubs/White Sox

It’s the final weekend of interleague play for 2011 and that means a couple of intracity matchups. All times Eastern.

↵↵

1 p.m., CSN Philadelphia, RSN: Phillies at Blue Jays. A day game on a Friday somewhere other than Wrigley Field? Yes, because it's a holiday in Canada, their national day, somewhat unoriginally named "Canada Day".

↵↵

2:20 p.m., WGN, CSN Chicago: White Sox at Cubs. A day game on a Friday... at Wrigley Field. The Cubs announcers (Len Kasper & Bob Brenly) will be on WGN, the White Sox broadcasters (Ken Harrelson & Steve Stone) on CSN.

↵↵

7 p.m., CSN Bay Area, FSN Detroit: Giants at Tigers. Interesting factoid about these two first-place teams: they have combined for 28 World Series appearances, but have never played each other in the Fall Classic.

↵↵

7 p.m., MLB Network, YES Network, SNY: Yankees at Mets. National network? Check. Friday night? Check. All-New York matchup? But of course.

↵↵

10 p.m., FSN West, Prime Ticket: Dodgers at Angels. Despite their struggles, the Angels stand just a game out of first place in the AL West.
