Diego Maradona Crashes Car Into Bus, Hospitalized

We don’t have many details just yet, but reports out of Argentine suggest that former world football megastar Diego Maradona has crashed his Honda CRV into a bus near Ezeiza airport and has been taken to hospital as a result. Maradona suffered a leg injury in the crash and his girlfriend Verónica Ojeda has hurt her hip. The injuries aren’t believed to be serious, and it’s currently unclear how the accident happened.

Maradona is pretty high up on the list of former footballers you’d expect to end up in hospital after crashing their cars into things, but fortunately it sounds as though all will turn out well. We’ll have details as they come in in this Story Stream.
