Apologies for the all-caps title, but our Atlanta bureau counts Derrick Lott as the fourth UGA athlete to be injured in a scooter-related mishap in recent memory; we can think of three scooter-related arrests right off the top of our heads, one of which involved Vance Cuff being detained by police for the dreaded crime of “EMERGING FROM AN ALLEY,” and knowing the hyper-vigilant and legendarily enthusiastic Athens police force as we do by now, we have grave concerns that Georgia athletes are even allowed to touch any moped or moped-like substance.
