Jered Weaver pitched brilliantly today, with seven shutout innings that lowered his ERA to 1.81. He also ran his record to 13-4, just a tick behind CC Sabathia's 14-4.

C.J. Wilson was the tough-luck loser, but his stock improved as well, with eight innings that included just two hits and a single (unearned) run, his ERA dropping below 3 (2.94).
