Mark Ingram Not Injured In Accident With 18-Wheeler

NFL rookie RB Mark Ingram was involved in a car accident with an 18-wheeler in Huntsville, Alabama early on Friday morning around 1:00 a.m.

While the wreck certainly sounds bad, there were no injuries.

Both airbags deployed in Ingram's two-door 2008 Infinity, but Huntsville Police said he was not injured. Officers said his girlfriend was also in the car. She, too, was unharmed.

The driver of the 18-wheeler was unharmed as well.

The WAFF report says that Ingram was picked up by “an entourage of people” after the wreck. Drugs or alcohol are not believed to be a factor, according to police.

This is certainly scary news for Ingram, who has yet to sign his rookie contract with the Giants. No one was hurt and drugs and alcohol weren't a factor so it appears this story will end well.
