FC Barcelona released their travel roster for their U.S. summer friendlies that will be part of the Herbalife World Football Challenge. Among the notable absences are Lionel Messi. But there should be plenty of other star power when Barca takes on the likes of Manchester United (July 30), Chivas de Guadalajara (Aug. 3) and Club America (Aug. 6).

Among the players who are on the roster are World Cup stars Xavi, Andres Iniesta, Carlos Puyol, Gerard Pique, Pedro, Victor Valdez, Sergio Busquets and David Villa. All played significant roles in Spain's title.
The match against Manchester United is highly anticipated as it will mark the first time the two sides have met since Barcelona beat United to win the UEFA Champions League.
