The Washington Redskins have been connected to a number of free agent receivers and it appears they've chosen one -- WR Donte Stallworth. Pro Football Talk reports Stallworth agreed to terms with the Redskins on a one-year deal.
Donte Stallworth Headed To Washington Redskins, According To Report
The deal won’t become official until Friday at 6:00 p.m. (ET) when players are permitted to sign with teams.
Stallworth missed the entire 2009 season on suspension and returned in 2010 to play eight games for the Baltimore Ravens. He had just two receptions for 82 yards last year.
He has a shot to do well in Washington considering what they have in house. The team also wrapped up WR Santana Moss to a three-year deal this week so they're finalizing their receiving group while it's still unknown what quarterback will be throwing to these guys.
Stallworth has played for the Saints, Ravens, Browns, Eagles and Patriots.
