Former Minnesota Vikings WR Sidney Rice will be staying in the NFC. According to Jay Glazer of FOXSports.com, Rice and the Seattle Seahawks have agreed to terms on a five-year contract. The Seahawks, Vikings and St. Louis Rams were believed to be among those in the running for Rice's services.

Rice will reportedly get a maximum of $41 million with $18.5 million guaranteed. That eight-million-per-year average is the going rate on the open market for a receiver like Rice.
He'll join a Seahawks free agent class that, as of now, includes former No. 2 overall pick G Robert Gallery and QB Tarvaris Jackson.
Rice can’t consummate the deal until Friday night at 6:00 p.m. (ET) when teams are allowed to actually sign free agents but, according to Glazer, they have a deal in place.
