Von Miller, No. 2 Pick, Agrees To Terms With Denver Broncos
We have agreed to terms with our 1st round pick, LB Von Miller. Can't wait to get him on the field.
The Broncos selected Miller with the second overall pick in the 2011 NFL draft. QB Cam Newton has yet to sign his deal so Miller is the highest draft pick to this point to sign.
He’ll be faced with a big task -- helping fix the Broncos defense. Following the draft, SB Nation’s Mile High Report noted what Miller was brought to Denver to do -- rush the passer.
Miller is hands down the best pass rusher in the draft, and will give the Broncos something that incoming head coach John Fox loves - a strongside linebacker that can rush the passer.
Miller is a big fan of the late Derrick Thomas, who also played in the AFC West but for the Chiefs. If he's anything like DT, then the rest of the West should be worried.
