Tyson Clabo, Falcons Agree To Terms After Bills Courting

The Atlanta Falcons will re-sign offseason priority No. 1, right tackle Tyson Clabo, according to a report. Clabo was reportedly being pursued by the Buffalo Bills. Terms of the deal have not yet been released.

Clabo was an undrafted free agent in 2004 when he was signed by the Denver Broncos. He was cut before the season, and eventually caught on with the Falcons in 2005. He eventually grew into a Pro Bowl right tackle last season.

Falcons fans were worried about losing their stellar right tackle, but now they have multiple reasons to celebrate. The team has agreed to sign all of its draftees, including Julio Jones to a four-year, $16.2 million guaranteed contract.

Jason Kirk over at SB Nation Atlanta gave his thoughts on where the Dirty Birds go from here:

...now that this deal is out of the way, expect pieces to start falling into place. It wouldn't have made sense for the team to re-sign its other free agent offensive linemen, Harvey Dahl and Justin Blalock, without knowing whether its top priority would be coming back or not.
