Akeem Jordan Re-Signs With Eagles, According To Report

The Eagles are making so many moves in the 2011 NFL free agency period that it's getting hard for everyone to keep up. Even ESPN's Adam Schefter, who reports that Philadelphia has signed linebacker Akeem Jordan in the same tweet that he reports the Eagles have traded Brodrick Bunkley to the Browns, seems winded.

Jordan is likely to shore up a linebacking corps that looks to be the weak spot of the daunting Eagles roster. Jordan has played for Philadelphia in all four of his NFL seasons, never starting more than 10 games or recording more than 71 tackles, but provides depth at a position where the Eagles could be perilously thin and young.

Jordan re-signing makes him the Eagles' second-most experienced linebacker; only Rashad Jeanty, who began his NFL career in 2006, has more time in the league, and Philly is carrying three rookies.
