MLB TV Schedule, 7/9: Derek Jeter! Yankees/Rays, Reds/Brewers

The rain has stopped in New York, so Derek Jeter's quest for 3,000 hits continues this afternoon, with national TV coverage. All times Eastern.

1 p.m., MLB Network, YES Network, Sun Sports: Rays at Yankees. This game is important for the AL East race, too; New York trails Boston by one game. Tampa Bay is behind by four.

↵↵

4 p.m., Fox-TV: Regional coverage of Braves at Phillies, Twins at White Sox and Padres at Dodgers. Most of the country will see Atlanta's Tommy Hanson pitch against Cliff Lee in Philadelphia. Southern California gets SD/LA and the Minnesota/Chicago game goes to most of the upper Midwest. Here's the complete coverage map.

↵↵

7 p.m., MLB Network, FSN Ohio, FSN Wisconsin: Reds at Brewers. The Reds blew a ninth-inning lead Friday night and now trail the Brewers, who have sole possession of first place in the NL Central, by four games.

↵↵

7 p.m., WGN, ROOT Sports Pittsburgh: Cubs at Pirates. There's another team closer to first place in the NL Central than the Reds. Hint: it's not the Cubs.
