Friday night, Phillies reliever Juan Perez appeared in one inning, throwing nine pitches and generating three strikeouts. You can watch the whole inning here. As Baseball-Reference informs us, it’s only the second perfect appearance since 2005. Not bad for a 32-year-old nobody.
