First Cup race at this track! Picking a winner should be a little more difficult than at other tracks, but I’m going with Kyle Busch for the win with Joey Logano as the dark horse favorite. Although, Jeff Gordon has a good record at being the first winner at new tracks so picking him might not be that bad of a deal either.
Open Race Thread: NASCAR Sprint Cup Quaker State 400 | Kentucky Speedway
According to NASCAR RnR’s crack reporter Matt Weaver, Kentucky Speedway is facing the realities of having a Cup race, such as driver complaints and traffic.
Starting lineup is on the other side - doesn’t matter much because it was set by the rulebook due to rain, which made it impossible for Kentucky-native Micheal Waltrip to make the race.
