MLB TV Schedule, 8/16: Rays/Red Sox, Giants/Braves

Everyone’s back in action tonight as we see more games between possible playoff teams. All times Eastern.

7 p.m., NESN, Sun Sports: Rays at Red Sox. This is the second game of a split doubleheader; the day game was necessitated by an earlier rainout. Jeff Niemann faces Erik Bedard.

7 p.m., MLB Network, WPHL, FSN Arizona: Diamondbacks at Phillies. Who would have expected that this would be a matchup of division leaders? MLBN viewers in Phoenix and Philadelphia will see Giants/Braves.

7 p.m., CSN Bay Area, FSN South: Giants vs. Braves. Speaking of which, Jonathan Sanchez faces Randall Delgado tonight. The Giants are reeling after Monday's blown save by Brian Wilson.

8 p.m., CSN Chicago, STO: Indians at White Sox. These teams think they're still in postseason contention. Odds are, at least one of them is wrong.

10 p.m., FSN Southwest, FSN West: Rangers at Angels. After Monday's pounding, the Angels really need to win or see their postseason hopes fade considerably.
