Kobe Bryant Investigation On Hold As Church Fight Accuser Waits To Talk To Police

Kobe Bryant will not have to answer questions about an alleged altercation inside a San Diego church as the man who has accused the Los Angeles Lakers' star of injuring his wrist isn't talking to police until August 24, according to a report from the Los Angeles Times.

Police were seeking interviews with Bryant and witnesses of the alleged incident, which is said to have occured at the St. Therese of Carmel church in San Diego’s Carmel Valley on Sunday. But apparently the alleged victim is keeping mum for the next week, and police won’t go further with the investigation until they speak to him.

The alleged victim remains anonymous. He said he visited a local hospital on Sunday after Bryant allegedly yanked the man’s cell phone from his hand, causing minor wrist pain. Kobe apparently believed that the man was taking photos of Bryant during church service. After discovering no photos on the phone, Bryant allegedly left St. Therese.
