The Chicago White Sox put right-hander Phil Humber on the 15-day disabled list

While Humber wanted to stay in the game, he was removed for precautionary measures, and now the White Sox aren’t taking any chances. From ESPN Chicago:
... the Chicago White Sox elected to put right-hander Phil Humber on the 15-day disabled list a day after he was drilled above the right eye by a comebacker.Officially, the White Sox are saying Humber has a facial contusion. He was expected to undergo a re-evaluation Friday.
To take Humber's place on the roster, the White Sox recalled reliever Josh Kinney from AAA. Kinney, 32, has had a pretty good year in relief in Charlotte. Based on the rotation over the last two weeks, it looks like Zach Stewart will stay in the rotation, making the six-man rotation something that's a little more traditional.
