Ryan Williams Injury: Arizona Cardinals Rookie Carted Off With Knee Injury
According to reports, Williams will not return and is being taken for further evaluation. While the extent of his injury is not yet know, many are speculating it may be serious (via Cards Chatter on Twitter).
RB Ryan Williams down after that carry. Looking at right leg/knee. Whole team over to see Williams off the field. That’s never a good sign. Williams head down as he goes off. Another not-good sign. Officially, RB Ryan Williams will not return with a rgt knee injury.
Williams is expected to be a significant contributor for the Cardinals, both now and in the future. As it stands, Beanie Wells would likely be the feature back if Williams' injury keeps him out of action for a lengthy period of time.
