Well that's livened things up. Liverpool push the ball into the centre of the pitch, whereupon Jordan Henderson holds it up, looks around, and released Charlie Adam steaming through the middle. Adam's pass to Carroll is characteristically overhit, but the striker manages to get on the end of it anyway and pushes the ball back to right back Martin Kelly, who hammers a first-time effort past Wojciech Szczesny but also, alas, off the outside of the near post. Best chance of the match, that - and Kelly did very well to hit the ball that hard from that angle.
Arsenal Vs. Liverpool: Martin Kelly Hits Post
Arsenal's response appears to be Bacary Sagna idly bouncing the ball off Kelly as the hosts attempt to build up an attack. Needless to say, that particular tactic is somewhat less than successful. Anyway, despite the young right-back rattling the post, it's still all square at the Emirates with an hour gone. 0-0.
