Robin van Persie picks up possession at the top of the box, and while his pass to Andrei Arshavin isn't spectacular the little Russian knocks over Martin Kelly to retrieve the ball. Martin Atkinson somehow doesn't call it a foul, and Liverpool are livid when Arshavin passes back to van Persie, allowing the captain to shoot. Pepe Reina keeps it out - just.

Emmanuel Frimpong should-have-been-a-yellow-card count: Five - and this time he's off after sticking out a leg with Lucas going flying through the air after the ball. No doubt about that one, even for Atkinson, and Frimpong has to go. In his Premier League debut, no less. Ouch. Both teams make substitutions as a result, with Henri Lansbury in for Arshavin and Liverpool bringing on Luis Suarez and Raul Meireles for Andy Carroll and Dirk Kuyt.
