MLB TV Schedule, 8/20: Brewers/Mets, Diamondbacks/Braves

The late Saturday afternoon schedule has three TV games on Fox -- and one that’s not being televised at all. All times Eastern.

4 p.m., Fox-TV (regional): Brewers at Mets, Cardinals at Cubs or Reds at Pirates. I'm guessing that Reds/Pirates matchup looked better to Fox a month ago than it does now. Here is the complete coverage map. The Dodgers also meet the Rockies at this time in a game that's not being televised anywhere. If something historic happens, the people at the game will be the only witnesses. How very 1940s.

7 p.m., MLB Network, FSN Arizona, FSN South: Diamondbacks at Braves. MLBN viewers in some areas will see Yankees at Twins.

7 p.m., CSN Bay Area, FSN Houston: Giants at Astros. The Astros are on their first three-game winning streak since the end of May, when they won four straight. Don't expect this to continue.

7 p.m., WGN, FSN Southwest: Rangers at White Sox. Every time the White Sox creep back into the division race, they find a way to fall back. That 27-36 home record probably has a lot to do with it.
