Friday, my friend Allen Barra took my friend Joe Sheehan to task for suggesting that A.J. Burnett is one of the Yankees’ five best starters.

↵Saturday, Burnett threw 61 pitches against the Twins, gave up five hits and three walks, and couldn’t escape the second inning.

↵It’s just one game. But as October approaches, those one games start seeming a lot more important.
