The End Of Josh Tomlin’s Streak

Indians starter Josh Tomlin came into action on Wednesday having lasted at least five innings in all 37 of his Major League starts. He and John Farrell were tied for the longest such streak to begin a career since 1919.

↵And Tomlin will remain forever tied with Farrell, because in his 38th go, he was knocked out after 4-2/3 innings, by the Seattle Mariners of all teams.
