Through six innings Monday night in San Francisco, Tim Lincecum had given up just one run, on Alfonso Soriano's home run. Lincecum had already lost two 1-0 games on solo homers this season. Sublime.
From the Sublime to the Ridiculous
↵In the seventh inning, Lincecum gave up two home runs in the space of about seven seconds, and the score suddenly was 5-0. Ridiculous.

Oh, and Randy Wells -- who came into the game with a 5.53 ERA -- pitched the game of his life, a two-hit shutout. Ridiculously sublime.
