The Chicago White Sox allowed 34 runs to the New York Yankees while being swept in a four-game series this week. The remarkable part is that the White Sox didn’t draw a single walk. Not one in a stretch of 123 at-bats.

↵They did get a couple of sacrifice flies in the series, so their batting average for the four games was higher than their on-base percentage. While that didn’t help them win, it was pretty cool. To me. Because I don’t really care about the White Sox. I’m in it for the junk stats.
↵A hat-tip to Len and Bob on the Cubs’ broadcast.
