DeSean Jackson Will Report To Eagles Camp Monday, According To Report

DeSean Jackson will end his holdout from the Philadelphia Eagles as the wide receiver is apparently set to report to the team for the first time since the NFL lockout ended.

This isn’t the first time a report has surfaced that Jackson’s holdout would be ending, but according to Eagles reporter Howard Eskin, the receiver will actually be back with Philadelphia on Monday.

Eskin tweeted on Saturday that he was told that Jackson will be in camp on Monday morning while also using the words “absolutely” and “positively” in his Tweets so that his followers would definitely believe him.

Eskin reports that the reason Jackson will be coming back isn’t because his contract will be re-negotiated, though, so there’s a good chance that one of Michael Vicks’ favorite weapons won’t be all that happy upon his return to the football field.

“DeSean Jackson does not have a new deal,” Eskin wrote, “But Tuesday is the deadline to report or lose a year of service credit for free agency.”

Considering Jackson was reportedly being fined $30,000 for each day he held out, it’s probably a good thing he sucks it up and goes to camp -- especially so he doesn’t lose a year of service.
