Jerricho Cotchery Visits, Takes Physical With Steelers
Cotchery would fit the role of slot receiver, one he grew accustomed to last year with the Jets with Santonio Holmes and Braylon Edwards split wide, that the Steelers are looking for long term to team with Hines Ward and Mike Wallace.
The Steelers are also looking for help at receiver after injuries to Ward (thumb) and Emmanuel Sanders (foot) have depleted the roster, leaving Wallace, Antwaan Randle El and Arnaz Battle as the only healthy wideouts in camp with a fair amount of experience.
Cotchery is looking for a new team for the first time in his eight-year career after his acrimonious departure from the Jets.
