Although we didn’t have 130 people wanting to play fantasy football like Buffalo Rumblings, we successfully filled three 16-team leagues.
MtD fantasy football league(s) update
When I first asked people to join us in fantasy football, some emailed saying they’d only do it if the league size was smaller. To those people, I say man up. Anyone can succeed in a 10- or 12-team league. At MtD, we like people to have a wide knowledge base about football. You can’t win a 16-team league if you don’t.
So the gauntlet was thrown down and more than 40 readers (and several MtD staffers) manned up to have a chance to win a random, and hopefully not sucky, prize directly from me.
Sorry to anyone who didn’t make it in. I strongly urge you to leave a comment or a Fan Post if you want to start another league. (If you do, no prizes from me, sorry)
While you have the fantasy bug, also make sure to check out Fake Teams, the SB Nation fantasy sports site. We’ll also be having some fantasy content on MtD throughout the season.
For anyone interested, we’ll also be providing updates on the three MtD leagues throughout the season. I expect people winning to brag in the comments, dammit.
Yahoo! Fantasy Football supports SB Nation and pigskin awesomeness. It’s also the #1 Fantasy Football game thanks to dazzling player research, instant stats with free live scoring, iPhone, Android, and iPad apps this season. Plus, new scoring categories for long receptions and rush plays. (Yes!) Sign up at yahoo.com/fantasyfootball
