Oklahoma is on top of the college football world: the Sooners come in at No. 1 in the Week 3 AP Poll, released early Sunday afternoon, marking their 100th week at the head of the AP Poll.
College Football Rankings: Oklahoma Leads Week 3 AP Poll Top 25
Idle Oklahoma remained at No. 1 in the Week 3 college football rankings. But Alabama jumped LSU after beating Penn State.


Oklahoma, idle in Week 2, is followed by Alabama, LSU, Boise State, and Florida State in the top five. The Crimson Tide jumped a spot, switching places with LSU after beating Penn State in Happy Valley on Saturday.
Elsewhere, defending national champion Auburn rejoined the AP top 25 after an upset of Mississippi State at home. The Tigers had fallen out of the AP Poll after a close call in Week 1 against Utah State.
