We at Baseball Nation have located something so good it’s worth having a second eBay item today.
The Amarillo Sox of the independent American Association (hey, it’s independent ball; “Sox” don’t have to have a color there) revealed this mascot earlier this season.
It, um, received a few complaints from fans, and you may be able to see why:
The mascot was replaced before its first game was even over. (Insert joke here.) Anyway, now you can buy this costume via this eBay auction. The price? A bargain. Minimum bid $5,000; Buy It Now for $25,000.
It’s for a good cause:
Portions of the proceeds will be donated to four separate Amarillo charities during the 2012 season chosen by the Amarillo Sox organization.What you do with it after you buy it is your own business.
