At almost exactly this moment, Tim Wakefield is taking the hill inside Yankee Stadium for what might well be his final appearance in the majors.

If he doesn't pitch well, the Red Sox might well finish behind the Rays for the Wild Card. Whether he pitches well or not, even if the Red Sox do finish ahead of the Rays, Wakefield might not gain a spot on the postseason roster. Even if he does gain that spot, he might not pitch in the postseason.

↵So watch if you can. This might be your last chance.
