Looks like we might have seen the last of New York Yankees catcher Francisco Cervelli this season. MLB.com's Brian Hoch:
Francisco Cervelli Injury: Concussions Knock Catcher Off Yankees Roster

Yankees catcher Francisco Cervelli has suffered another concussion-related setback and is all but certain to sit out the American League Division Series, if not the entire postseason.
--snip--
Cervelli has had at least three known concussions in his career, including the most recent one on a home-plate collision with the Orioles' Nick Markakis.
Girardi has already stated that he expects both Jesus Montero and Jorge Posada to be on his postseason roster, and that Russell Martin will start every game at catcher if healthy.
The decision to carry Posada is interesting, and perhaps costly. True, he’s perhaps the only catcher/first baseman/second baseman in the major leagues. But you know he won’t play any of those positions unless there’s a tragic five-man collision in the infield or something. Basically, he’s a bat off the bench and the Yankees -- being the Yankees -- would have come up with someone better if Posada weren’t Posada.
Hey, they’ve won 97 games with Posada on the roster; no big reason they can’t win 11 more.
Russell Martin is young and strong and there are plenty of off-days in October, so unless he gets hurt, Cervelli’s injury doesn’t figure to become a real issue. More to the point, you do have to worry about Cervelli’s future. It’s not clear why we’ve suddenly got this rash of concussions -- the obvious answer is that they were terribly underreported for all those decades -- but now we know enough to suspect that Cervelli’s career might be in real trouble.
