That's Former All-Star Omar Infante to you. Last offseason, the Marlins traded fan-favorite second baseman Dan Uggla to the Braves, and Infante was part of the package that came back to the Marlins. Though Infante was primarily a utility infielder prior to the trade, the Marlins plugged him in as their starting second baseman, where he hit .279/.317/.385 in 574 at-bats. While it was a drop-off from his 2010 numbers, it was enough to convince the Marlins to retain him. From the Sun-Sentinel:
Omar Infante Signs Two-Year Extension With Marlins

The Florida Marlins and second baseman Omar Infante have come to terms on a two-year contract. Infante would have been eligible for free agency.Citing two sources, the report said Infante’s new deal is for two years and about $8 million. Infante and the Marlins began discussion on an extension earlier this month.
Considering the relatively weak free-agent market for middle infielders, it’s a little surprising that Infante didn’t test the free-agent waters. He wanted to stay a Marlin, though, and a Marlin he will stay for at least the next two years. He probably just has a strong sense of fashion.
