The Cardinals face a one-game deficit in the NL Wild Card race with two games to play. They're not dead yet, not even close. That's because the team they're chasing, the Atlanta Braves, is finishing out the season against baseball's best team, the Phillies. St. Louis gets a series against the 100-loss Astros. Now if only they could beat them.
Cardinals Vs. Astros, NL Wild Card Race Preview: Time, TV Schedule, Starting Pitchers And More
The Cardinals are still chasing Atlanta in the NL Wild Card hunt, but St. Louis needs a win Tuesday night against Houston.

Last night, the Cardinals lost to Houston 5-4 when a win could have tied them for the lead in the Wild Card. On Tuesday, they'll turn to Jake Westbrook, who is 12-9 on the season with a 4.48 ERA. But Westbrook has shrunk his September ERA to just 2.61. He needs to deliver tonight to keep the Cardinals' postseason hopes alive.
For the Astros, it'll be Henry Sosa on the mound. In his last two starts, Sosa has gone at least six innings and given up no more than three runs.
