It’s getaway day, so there are a few day games today. Good thing, too, because in many parts of the USA it’s getting kind of chilly to play at night. All times Eastern.
12 noon, STO, FSN Detroit: Tigers at Indians. Detroit goes for the sweep over Cleveland, and their sixth win in a row, behind Justin Verlander.
1 p.m., YES Network, MASN: Orioles at Yankees. These teams will be tired after the four-hour rain delay and playing a game in a drenching downpour Tuesday night.
7 p.m., ESPN, CSN Philadelphia, FSN South: Braves at Phillies. The Phillies' magic number to clinch a playoff spot is six.
7 p.m., NESN, RSN: Red Sox at Blue Jays. The Red Sox are 9-4 against Toronto this season and have won games in the Canadian city by 14-0, 14-1 and 16-4.
>10 p.m., ESPN, FSN West, ROOT Sports Seattle: Mariners at Angels. The Angels cling to life in the AL West, but after last night's loss put them 3.5 games behind the Rangers, they really have to win this one.
