Guillermo Moscoso Has Set An Oakland Record

In the third inning of a start against the Mariners on September 2, A’s starter Guillermo Moscoso allowed a single to Justin Smoak. In the sixth inning of a start against the Royals on September 7, Moscoso walked Alcides Escobar. In between, he retired 30 consecutive batters, beating the previous franchise record of 29, set by Catfish Hunter and Dallas Braden.

↵Moscoso, by the way, is still working on a no-hitter, even though the walk spoiled his perfect game. So you should watch for that.
