NCAA Tournament 2012, Wisconsin Vs. Montana: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

Wisconsin will play Montana on Thursday in a classic 4-13 matchup that always seem to produce some upsets.

Presswire

For fans of upsets, the 4-13 matchup in the NCAA Tournament has always been a good one. With No. 4 Wisconsin taking on No. 13 Montana, there are plenty of people picking against the chalk.

The Grizzlies come into this game having won the Big Sky Tournament and riding a 15-game winning streak. Since losing to Nevada on Dec. 10, the Grizzlies have gone 21-1. Although they have not played any team with a resume anything like Wisconsin’s, the fact that this game is being played at a similar altitude as they are used to could work in their favor.

The Badgers are coming off a resounding loss to No. 8 Michigan State in the semifinals of the Big Ten Tournament. In contrast to the Grizzlies, they have a lot of experience against top teams. They’ve played 11 games against ranked opponents this year, going 4-7.

Date/Game time: Thursday, 2:10 p.m. ET

Venue: University Arena, Albuquerque, N.M.

TV: TNT

Announcers: Spero Dedes and Bob Wenzel
