The team that was exposed in the Big East will not emerge from the East if Odds Shark’s scores prediction computer and resident handicappers are correct.
“We like Ohio State in the East and we love Jared Sullinger,” said Mike Pickett of OddsShark.com, which provides live college basketball tournament odds to SBNation.com.
SEC winner Vandy earned the No. 5 seed and gets Harvard. While the handicappers disagree, the computer picks the 12 seed in an upset here.
The bracket also features the team that has been one of the most profitable Madness teams of the past decade. West Virginia is 14-4 ATS in 18 games since 2001, but the computer has them losing to Gonzaga in the first round.
If the computer is right, a lot of underdogs cover the spread Thursday and Friday in the East Region, although few of them affect your bracket contest selections.
