The Pac-12 looked like the weakest power conference heading into the 2012 NCAA Tournament. One half into its Second Round game against No. 6 UNLV, No. 11 Colorado is dead-set on puncturing that perception, dominating the Runnin’ Rebels for a 36-25 halftime lead.
NCAA Tournament Scores: Colorado In Upset Position On UNLV At Halftime, 36-25
Colorado's enjoyed a massive advantage on the glass, thanks in large part to Andre Roberson. Roberson has eight points and nine boards at the break, and has led the Buffs' relentless pursuit of missed shots, which has them outrebounding UNLV 27-12. Austin Dufault has eight points for Colorado, and Carlon Brown added seven.
The Rebels, besides being battered on the boards, have been cold from the field. Mike Moser is 2-for-6 and has six points, while Chace Stanback has five points on 2-for-7 shooting. UNLV, as a team, is shooting just 27.6 percent from the floor.
