2012 NCAA Bracket, UNC Vs. Ohio Score: Tar Heels Manage 73-65 Overtime Win

Friday night's Sweet 16 game between No. 1 North Carolina Tar Heels and No. 13 Ohio Bobcats was yet another classic. The 2012 NCAA Tournament has seemed to be full of them. While the Bobcats hoped to write their own Cinderella story with a win to advance to the Elite Eight, they fell just short in overtime by a final score of 73-65.

The Bobcats did a valiant job of clawing back into the game after falling behind early and were able to force the game into overtime, but were unable to get their early shots to fall in the extra period. They quickly fell behind by five points, then fell behind by six in the final 23 seconds.

Walter Offutt had an amazing game for Ohio, finishing with 26 points, although there is one point he notably did not get: his missed free throw at the end of the second half very well could have been the game winner. UNC's Tyler Zeller finished with 20 points and 23 rebounds in a spectacular game.

Nick Fasulo of Searching for Billy Edelin breaks down the game:
