NCAA Tournament 2012, Kentucky Vs. Baylor: TV Schedule, Game Time And More

The Kentucky Wildcats look as good as any team in recent memory, but have a tough Elite Eight matchup with the No. 3 Baylor Bears on Sunday.

The Kentucky Wildcats avenged a regular season loss to the Indiana Hoosiers with their last outing, a 102-90 performance that was less of a defensive disaster and more of an overwhelmingvoffensive display. It was impressive; the Wildcats had just six turnovers, shot 50 percent from deep and 48 percent from the field while outrebounding the Hoosiers by nine. Doron Lamb had 21 points and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist had 24 of his own, with the Wildcats always in control of the game.

Now they're in the Elite Eight, and things aren't going to get any easier. The Baylor Bears made it through the Sweet Sixteen with a narrow 75-70 victory over Xavier by spreading the ball around when the usual playmakers were covered. Quincy Acy had 20 points and 15 rebounds, while Perry Jones added 14 points of his own.

While this is a No. 1 seed and a No. 3 seed, Baylor easily could have been No. 2, and it’s definitely a close one. On the court, the pair boast very similar teams in regards to talent -- enough to make NBA talent scouts salivate. Then there’s the intangibles, like the fact that this is Baylor’s second Elite Eight appearance in program history. So this matchup should be a good one.

Game Date/Time: Sunday, March 25, 2:20 p.m. ET

TV: CBS

Announcers: Jim Nantz, Clark Kellogg
