NFL Draft Prospect Bruce Irvin Arrested, According To Report

NFL draft prospect Bruce Irvin was reportedly arrested for destruction of property.

In a little more than a month, West Virginia defensive end/outside linebacker Bruce Irvin will likely be selected in the 2012 NFL draft. When that happens, he’ll be bringing some off-the-field baggage with him. According to a report from WVMetroNews.com, Irvin was arrested on Saturday night

He is facing charges of destruction of property in Morgantown after he allegedly broke a sign at the local Jimmy Johns.

It’s never good for someone to get arrested. But it’s even worse when they’re entering the NFL draft the following month. Teams will ask Irvin about this when he starts taking private visits, and he’ll get to tell his side of the story. The question is whether this is just a 24-year old making a dumb mistake or a pattern of things to come.

Irvin had a solid NFL Combine running the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds.
