2012 NFL Mock Draft: Jaguars Pick Up Brian Quick In Round 2

With the 38th pick in SB Nation's 2012 NFL mock draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select Appalachian State WR Brian Quick.

The Jags addressed the pass rush with their first round pick and now move back to offense with their second round pick.

SB Nation’s Jaguars blog, Big Cat Country, explains the pick:

The Jaguars need to add to their receiving corps after picking up a defensive end in the first round. The team needs a bigger receiver added to their line up after picking up Laurent Robinson in free agency, who can stretch the field. Quick adds a player with size to the team who can also add another big red zone threat for Blaine Gabbert. Quick is also a high potential type player who’s still a bit raw and will need refining, but early on his size and strong hands will get him into the lineup.
