The San Diego Chargers are a solid team but they may not take the jump to elite until they can find a pass rusher to harass the quarterback. They've been trying to replace Shawne Merriman for a number of years but so far no on ehas stood out. SB Nation's Chargers blog, Bolts From The Blue, addressed the Chargers needs entering the NFL draft this weekend.
Chargers NFL Draft Needs: Pass Rushers Are Still Needed

The Chargers pass-rush has been their downfall for quite some time and will be their biggest need until they can draft another Shawne Merriman. With the retirement of Kris Dielman and Marcus McNeill's injury-related release, the offensive line is seriously lacking depth (although Tyronne Green and Jared Gaither seem like suitable replacements at starting LG and LT, respectively). Strong Safety has been a weakness on defense that opposing teams have exploited repeatedly (especially with pass-catching TEs) and they'll once again try to fill that spot with a draft pick.
