The Kansas City Chiefs surprisingly have few glaring needs as the 2012 NFL draft nears. The team is stocked with solid talent at most positions but there can still be upgrades. SB Nation's Chiefs blog, Arrrowhead Pride, looked at the Chiefs needs entering the NFL draft.

Quarterback: The Chiefs need to insert some life into the position, whether that be through the 11th pick (Ryan Tannehill) or another late round pick. Matt Cassel has been questionable at best in his three seasons with the Chiefs and KC needs to find a future starter at the position.

Nose tackle: The Chiefs don't have a ton of glaring needs, except nose tackle. 2011 sixth round pick Jerrell Powe is on the roster, as is Anthony Toribio, but that's about it. The Chiefs could re-sign Kelly Gregg. Either way, they need to find a body to line up at nose tackle before the season starts.

Offensive line: The Chiefs addressed the biggest offensive line need, right tackle, with Eric Winston. They could also use a guard to eventually replace Ryan Lilja or an offensive tackle depending on the future of Branden Albert, whose contract expires at the end of the 2012 season.
