NFL Draft 2012: Browns Likely To Stay Put At No. 4

The Cleveland Browns own the fourth overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft. Two of the more popular picks projected for them are Justin Blackmon and Trent Richardson. FOX's Jay Glazer reports that Richardson, the former Alabama Crimson Tide running back, isn't expected to get past the Browns at No. 4.

Browns General Manager Tom Heckert told reporters before the draft that the team feels pretty “confident” picking fourth, which means they probably have a pretty good idea of who they’ll take.

The draft's top two quarterbacks, Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III, will go first and second overall, respectively. The Vikings are expected to choose either Morris Claiborne or Matt Kalil with the third pick. From there, Richardson would be available to the Browns, as would Blackmon.

Reporters differ on who the Browns prefer. Richardson comes across as more of a sure thing, but Blackmon could add some much-needed explosion to the Cleveland offense.
